There was a small field of these beautiful flowers

you’ll see that this watercolour shows part of my sense of humour

These are my very first recollections of the Okanagan Valley when we visited my grandparents' orchard just a mile south of downtown Oliver

but I’m always glad to see it in the heat of the summer

and having a school of Koi wend its way from left to right and from top to bottom seemed more than appropriate
