I was looking for some subjects to photograph along the trail with the sun illuminating those subjects when I came upon this Kentucky coffee tree being backlit with an orange glow from the morning sun

I enjoyed viewing and photographing them as they rested at Wildflower Lake before flying north on their migration

A beautiful spring sunrise illuminates this scene along the south fork Kishwaukee River as a male mallard duck swims close by
