Stumbled upon this hummingbird nest while kayaking six weeks ago

A hour or so after sunset it becomes visible in the northwest sky

we got locked in the parking lot because it closed at 8:39

This tiny male was scarcely bigger than a pop can & well-hidden in a conifer

Finding this tiny male on Superb Owl Sunday was an absolute highlight & easily the most photographic seen in ten years or more

This particular evening was as fine as they get with crystal clear skies to the east, a blazing sunset in the west, and 60 degree temps. Its been quite the fall in northeast Ohio! This particular print is a panorama made up of several shots, and will enlarge very nicely with great detail :)
