You can tribute your face down monsters, and even the xyz monsters after they run out of xyz materials(which then you can shuffle back with Brothers) The card even has fringe usage from grave, where you can send Borz or Medraut without equip to grave to special summon itself, which could enable rank 5 plays even with lack of equip spells

Master Duels Xyz Festival will kick off on Thursday February 16th at 11:30pm PST (thats 7:30am GMT on Friday February 17th for us here in the UK), and will limit participants to using exclusively Xyz monsters in their Extra Deck

Most of the Fusion Monsters do have a side-effect of requiring specific materials but there are ways around that and some like Elemental HERO Core have more generic materials for easier summoning (in this case, only needing three Elemental HERO monsters)
